Q. Why does Loren need a web site?
A. This web site gives Loren a chance to share the excitement of our political system at work. You'll notice that we have placed a lot of photos and event news on the site. Win or lose, in any election, we want to let everyone in on how important and exciting it is to participate in our community and the election process.
Q. I haven't registered to vote. How can I do that?
A. The Iowa Secretary of State has made the official voter registration available online in a pdf format. You may print this online form and fill it out by hand, please be sure to sign the form before you send it to your Pottawattamie County Auditor. Q. I won't be in town on election day. Do you know where to get absentee ballots?
A. In order to vote by absentee ballot you need to fill out an application and a ballot will be sent to you by the state. Absentee Ballot Application forms can be found on this page on the Iowa Secretary of State's web site. The following forms are available there:
