Loren Knauss - Don Evans Visit

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Donald L. Evans visited Council Bluffs October 16th on the GOP campaign trail. You can read the Nonpareil article here. Mr. Evans is a core member of President Bush’s economic team. He oversees a Cabinet agency with some 40,000 workers and a $5.8 billion budget focused on promoting American business, both at home and abroad. (see bio) Evans spoke to an eager crowd in the main hangar of the Council Bluffs Municipal Airport. He answered questions from the audience and afterward spent time signing autographs and meeting the public. Once again our volunteers took photos of the event for those who couldn't make it.
