Parade: Curbside Camera
270 Photos - These pictures are from a stationary camera which shot the floats as they came by, and they are in parade order. If you were sitting on the curb at the parade, this is what you would have seen. The set begins just before the beginning of the parade and was able to take photos of almost all of the floats. Parade: Roving Camera
264 Photos - These pictures are from a roving camera walking along the parade route starting just before the parade begins. Almost all of the close-up shots we took are in this set. If you were in the parade or stopped our photographer for a photo, you'll probably see yourself in this set.

(Monday, September 4th, 2006) What a wonderful day for a parade! There was great weather, a great crowd, and a great time! The Knauss monster wagon was back in the shop (so to speak) so we had the three smaller wagons in tow this time. Those wagons are sure getting some miles on them this year.
Our volunteer photographers were out in the crowd again and snapped over 500 photos while dodging oncoming candy barrages. There were Tootsie Rolls and suckers flying everywhere, much to the delight of the kids in the crowd and one of out cameramen with a sweet tooth. We're happy to note there were no candy-related injuries to the crew, though they may be too sugared up to sleep tonight.
Special thanks go out to all of our friends who came out to see us, everyone in Neola, and our parade route volunteers.
If you weren't able to talk with us at the parade, you can always send us an E-mail of support, volunteer, or put up a sign on your lawn. We're always grateful for the support.
Please note: We just want to take a moment to let you know that we realize not everyone in the photos are necessarily Knauss supporters (though we would love it if they were!). Our friends took a lot of pictures of the campaign, but also wanted to take pictures of some of the interesting people and floats along the way. We are happy to show you the photos we took, and appreciate the understanding of everyone pictured -- those who are our supporters, and other fine members of the community.
