The 2002 Council Bluffs Pride Parade was held May 18th under a thankfully clear blue sky. Loren entered the event with Bob Sellers' beautiful 1948 Ford. Bob built the throaty chromed-out Chevy 350 cu. in. V-8 that sits under the hood, and even tweaked it for better sound for the parade!

We know all of our supporters can't make it to every event, so we took pictures for you (below). Loren and our volunteers passed out stickers and talked to everyone we could along the parade route. The crowd was wonderful, and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

Special thanks go out to all of our friends who came out to see us, and our parade route volunteers: Steve Cates, Shannon Halsted, Melissa Joslin, the Knauss family, Bob Sellers, and Josh Weesner.

If you weren't able to talk with us during the parade, you can always send us an E-mail of support, volunteer, or put up a sign on your lawn or barn. We're always grateful for the support.

Photos

For those who missed the event, we took some photos!

Jeremy Biggs likes stickers more than your average kid. Loren helps him with a spot he missed.

Not to be outdone, but lacking a hat, Justin Biggs slaps a sticker to his forehead. (Note to Mom: we're glad he's on our side!)

(We loved the Car Bob! See more pictures of it here)

Bob's growling V-8 could scare away this patriotic dog who came all the way from Texas to see the parade.
